Abstract: | The free mobility oflabour, being one ofthe fourpillars in the process ofeconomi cal integration, is, simultaneously the one that introduced the major difficulties ofit’s carrying out. This fact explains the difficulties and the complexity ofthis matterfacing the negotiations ofEuropean Union (EU) Eastern Enlargement, and in the definition ofthe process during the transition period. On the other hand, the concemment on this theme has led to studies, which essentially aim the greatest EU economies - the ones more affected by immigration - but has been despising the effects which immi gration from East Europe will have on the smaller Southern economies ofEU, less affected by the immigration, but who will still suffer a considerable impact that must be known. |
