Abstract: | The main reason for development of different co-operation networks of companies is a big diversity and dispersai of competence in the field of tech nology, production, marketing, organisation, management etc. Possessing such competence is a source of competitive advantage for a business entity. However, it seldom happens that such competence is complete and, particularly, if its levei is assessed in relation to challenges posed by the global market. In this situation more and more companies undergo a clear evolution from autarky to openness, from concentration of all functions under one management to far reaching devolution and to operation of different task groups in network struc tures including partners from different parts of the world |
