Abstract: | A presente dissertação pretende refletir
linha temporal, desencadeando a narrativa
Deste modo, partindo do pressuposto
que a principal riqueza e potencial de
desenvolvimento desta área reside no despertar
e compreender a génese industrial
revelar o objetivo final do projeto, utilizando
reflexões de vários autores, contextualizadas
de forma a sustentarem a presente dissertação,
apostando numa continuidade ideológica. This dissertation aims to reflect upon the elements that constitute this territory and that mark a rhythm along a time line, triggering a historical narrative. This reflection will be the starting point that will allow to investigate, not only the visible aspects that surround the landscape, but especially those that are implicit in the environment that surrounds it. Therefore, based on the assumption that the main wealth and development potential of a territory resides in the awakening of a Human component, proposing the creation of a museological project that in addition to returning the heritage to the community, will also integrate it in an urban context. In order for this to be possible, we must assume that the past does not represent a static moment in history, therefore it should be regarded as a remnant that the man left in the territory and that will foster a relationship between the past and the present. The project aims to explain and understand the industrial genesis of the city of Sines that constitute an important piece of the urban morphology in which it’s inserted. Considering a relation between the city and the industry, the ruin and the territory, a space is developed, that in addition to create new interactions produces an architecture of affirmative sense, whether in the relation to the surrounding environment or in its typological nature as a physical mass, not allowing ambiguities as to its location. The structure of the theoretical work aims for a continuous reading that will reveal the final objective of the project, using reflections of several authors, contextualized in order to sustain the present dissertation, betting on an ideological continuity. |
