Abstract: This contribution is a result of an ongoing PhD research project, which intends to approach personal versus organizational ethical issues and social dilemmas in organizational knowledge management. Therefore, the key purpose is to illustrate the conceptual frameworks that explain these trends, as well as to expose the empirical results concerning data collection first stage (pre-tests and pilot studies). For that, the paper is divided into three main sections: knowledge management (levels and dimensions); framework design (levels); empirical findings (research design, data collection methods and diagnosis); and, results comparison: a new “light”!
